Good Morning and TGIF!

I needed a good dinner recipe, so I’m posting this one I tried the other night. Really liked it!




1 pkg wide egg noodles
6 Tbsp flour (divided)
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 1/4-1 1/2 lb chicken tenders
4 Tbsp butter (divided)
1/2 tsp dried mustard
6 med mushrooms, quartered
2 cups chicken broth
1 cup chopped onions
1 cup sour cream
1 tsp ketchup

Cook noodles, keep warm.

~Mix 4 Tbsp flour w/ salt & pepper in a large bowl. Add chicken and coat.

~Heat 2 Tbsp butter in a large skillet over med heat until melted. Cook chicken in butter, stirring frequently until browned (6-8 min)

~Stir in mushrooms & onions. Cook, stirring frequently 4 min.

~Remove chicken and veggies with slotted spoon to a bowl.

~Add remaining flour and butter to pan juices & mix well. Gradually stir in broth. Cook, stirring frequently for 3 minutes. Stir in sour cream, dried mustard and ketchup.

~Return chicken and veggies to skillet. Cook, stirring frequently until heated through. Do not boil.

Serve with noodles.
