SIX SENTENCE SUNDAY-November 18th

November marches on. I’m still holding on to NaNoWriMo though I’ve had several distractions that have kept me from my writing. But I’m determined to finish!

Today I’m jumping ahead a little. Becca is riding a horse for a friend in a local horse show and Josh finds he’s interested in her, against his will. Hard to keep memories at bay, though.

Josh closed his eyes as a last ditch effort not to get dragged into this unwanted attraction to her. This was the last thing he needed.

“Josh, oh my God! I can’t believe I won!”

Josh grimaced. This voice belonged to a sixteen-year-old Becca after winning her first over fences class on a Skyview horse. He squeezed his eyes tighter, but he couldn’t shake the memory.

Head on over to Six Sentence Sunday for more awesome sentences!

AND HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO EVERYONE!

    1. Yes, it’s a class for hunters. The horses are judged on how they take the jumps etc, as opposed to jumpers who basically are just trying to get around the course with no faults.
