So, this is it. The last day of Six Sentence Sunday-at least here. Looks like there’ll be more SSS awesomeness as the idea has been taken up by other wonderful writers. But I’d like to thank the original creators of Six Sentence Sunday. It’s been awesome being a part of this fun!
Today I am so proud to announce the release of my latest book, Sweet and Wild. What can beat romance on the South Dakota plains?
Quinn Emery is a true, dyed in the wool cowgirl, from the brim of her Stetson to the tips of her favorite old pair of Tony Lama’s. She’s returned from college, bent on raising Quarter Horses under the wide South Dakota sky and nothing is going to distract her from that goal. Not a narcissistic ex-boyfriend, her brother’s fantastically successful dude ranch or a her desire for a place to call her own.
Craig Lynch has come home too. Now a widower with a ten-year-old daughter, he has to reestablish a life as a rancher after traveling all over the world. Not such an easy task, but when he sees Quinn, he knows life is going to get much more complicated. Last he saw her she was ten, but now she’s an incredibly sexy woman and the attraction is too strong to ignore.
Falling in love, however, has more complications than either bargain for. A reluctant daughter, the jealousy of an ex-boyfriend, and the shadow of Craig’s late wife nearly destroy everything, but Craig is determined to convince Quinn that love can overcome anything.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Last week Quinn was feeling the effects of having her first love so close. Let’s see what’s going on today. Quinn is helping Craig out with his daughter’s slumber party. They’re having a bit of fun alone that takes a turn to something else.
One glance at him erased the lighthearted moment. One second his eyes sparkled with laughter, the next a fire burned in them, serious and full of desire.
All her efforts to keep him at arm’s length, to deny what she felt for him went out the window, along with her good sense.
The can of whipped cream clattered to the counter and his other arm pulled her closer, nearly off her feet. She put her arms around his neck to keep from falling.
The perfect position for him to dip his head and take possession of her mouth.
Sweet and Wild is available for Kindle for only 3.99, or free to borrow if you have Amazon Prime. Go check it out!
And make sure you get over to Six Sentence Sunday to check out all other awesome authors!
