Happy Sunday! It looks like springtime has sprung. Finally! I’ve been so tired of the cold winter weather.

Today I’m going to be posting my 8 sentences from my latest short story release Do Overs (previously released as Yesterday’s Tomorrow).

What would you do if life gave you another chance to go back and get it right?

No one needs a mental health day more than forty-four year old Lila Weidner, but when the overworked HR director wakes up in her twenty-three year old body, she’s left wondering what is going on. Where is her life as a successful business woman? Where is her equally successful husband? And how is she going to maneuver through the day in order to stay on the same path she followed over twenty years earlier? Lila soon rediscovers old dreams and old friendships that she left behind and wonders if this is her chance for another shot at a truly fulfilling life. Does she dare to step off her original path and take advantage of the do overs life has given her?

Here’s my 8:

If it weren’t for my future with Bob maybe I could mend Colin’s soon to be broken heart.

I recalled the flash, the passion contained in the one quick image and feeling. What was that? Another rip in my fabric of time? Something that could be? That would be?

A part of me wanted to reach out and touch him again, find out if the jolt would be repeated, but by the look on his face, the half-smile, the hooded eyes, I really didn’t think he shared the same experience.

A dull ache thudded against my temples.
