It’s been a very busy last few months. The holidays always take a lot of my attention, with good reason. And then there’s November, the time to dig deep and get 50,000 words out of my system for National Novel Writing Month (aka NaNoWriMo). This year I managed to squeak out just over 50K, which was a nice accomplishment, although it means I have work to finish on the manuscript that was born.
It’s all good.
I also decided to take some writing courses, because I’m never too old to learn new things.
And lately I’ve been working on getting some of my e-books into print. In October 2017 I’m going to be participating in the 2017 Fall in Love with New England Romance Reader/Author Conference being held October 13th and 14th in Manchester, NH. I’m going there as an author and will be doing book signings and everything!
To say the least I’M SCARED WITLESS!! I’ve never done anything like this, and I’m an overwhelmingly shy, tongue-tied introvert. It’s going to be interesting to see how I deal with a crowd like this event drew last year. And I get to hang with so many other authors, that it’s going to be very cool indeed.
So, I’ve got two more of my books in print. Check out Finally Home and That Kind of Magic
There’s nothing quite like seeing your babies in print.
Now they’re ready to sell to the public, I’m turning back to what I love the most. Writing. I’ve got lots of irons in the fire (someday I’m going to focus on just one project at a time. HA!!!)
Stay tuned for more information about the conference in October.
