It’s been forever since I posted. 2018, thus far, has been chaotic, and I’m hoping it’s going to calm down. Maybe.
I hope.
At the beginning of the year I was employed by a company I loved with people I enjoyed being around. I liked going into work. I loved looking out my window from spring to fall and see the Canada geese wander across our parking lot.
And THEN the company decided to merge with a sister company from Maine and relocate to the seacoast. I was not invited to go along, which is fine, because I wasn’t interested in a 2 hour drive-each way.
I’m now working for a very up-and-coming company new to town. It’s fast-paced and fancy, and now I have a view of squirrels, chipmunks, hummingbirds, and on occasion a ground hog. Then, silly me, decided to move up a step and become a shift lead. Well, I’m never bored! And I really enjoy the people I work with. I miss my old friends, but I’m glad I work for the new company.
As for my writing, it’s been put on hold during all these changes. My new schedule makes sitting down for long periods of time. I’ve been plotting in my brain, though, so that’s a good thing. I don’t know if I’m going to do the romance thing, or work on something a little darker.
But, who says I can’t do both?
